One of Infonet's premier clients has an opening for a Technical Product Manager. (307-1)
TERMS: Contract
SCOPE OF WORK
• Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring that product features deliver maximum value
• Define the product vision, manage the backlog, and prioritize work to align with company strategy
• Define and implement QA strategy, standards, and best practices across onshore and offshore teams
• Align QA processes with organizational goals and project timelines
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and quality standards
• Coordinate and manage offshore QA teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment with onshore priorities
• Handle resource allocation, workload balancing, and performance tracking for offshore members
• Act as the primary liaison between onshore stakeholders and offshore teams to resolve issues quickly
• Establish effective communication channels (daily stand-ups, weekly syncs, status reports)
• Bridge time zone gaps by planning overlapping hours for critical discussions
• Maintain transparency on progress, risks, and blockers
• Review and approve test plans, test cases, and automation scripts prepared by offshore teams
• Ensure coverage for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
• Monitor defect management process and ensure timely resolution
• Define KPIs (e.g., defect leakage, test coverage, execution progress)
• Generate regular quality reports for leadership and stakeholders
• Use metrics to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement
• Identify risks related to offshore delivery, such as delays or quality issues
• Implement mitigation strategies and contingency plans
• Ensure offshore teams have access to QA tools, environments, and automation frameworks
• Drive test automation adoption and maintain CI/CD integration
• Provide guidance and training to offshore QA engineers on processes and tools
• Foster a culture of quality ownership and accountability
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
• 3-5 years of related experience
PREFERRED EDUCATION
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in related field
