One of Infonet's premier clients has an opening for a Guest Services Lead Engineer. (7792)

TERMS: Contract

SCOPE OF WORK

• Supervise teams in both North American and offshore
• Compare and contrast on the interoperability of multiple development tools
• Train others on developing and supporting multiplatform applications
• Monitor industry and vendor experiences with technologies and methodologies
• Present information on the evolution of development and convergence with other technologies
• Teach others about remote and mobile access applications
• Elaborate on operational considerations for maintaining applications
• Oversee the establishment and use of best practices in IT systems management
• Promote the use of standard procedures in supporting IT systems functions
• Create criteria to measure the performance of IT systems management
• Lead discussions and answers complex questions regarding world-class infrastructure and management of IT systems
• Provide insight into management procedures to ensure excellent performance in IT systems
• Lead discussions on future trends, methodologies, and processes of platform architecture throughout the enterprise
• Design training programs to improve the technical ability of platform architects and evaluates the effectiveness of this program on a regular basis
• Contribute to the establishment of best practices for implementing reliability engineering processes and procedures
• Lead discussions on complex reliability metrics issues with other industry experts or competitors
• Design, implement, and continuously improves reliability testing and engineering processes
• Create organizational reliability testing policies, strategies, and methodologies
• Publish internal documentation on improving the effectiveness of decision trees, merging reliability and costs
• Champion the use of advanced and emerging reliability testing technologies and methodologies
• Create, implement, and monitor processes and procedures for organizational reliability management for hardware products
• Champion the use of new technologies and methods for reliability management
• Lead the definition, implementation, and reporting of hardware reliability requirements
• Establish best practices for hardware reliability testing design and implementation
• Lead evaluations of product associated costs with the costs of designing reliability tests

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

• 5-10 Years of related experience
• Experience with project management of small initiatives
• Use of Service Now, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint
• Use of various technical tools to troubleshoot connectivity, client/server applications, firewalls, peripheral devices

PREFERRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

• Industry experience in cruise, specifically shipboard
• Familiarity with Guest Services/hospitality

PREFERRED EDUCATION

• Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or similar discipline
