One of Infonet's premier clients has an opening for a Performance Test Lead. (7540)

TERMS: Contract

SCOPE OF WORK

• Delegate duties and tasks within the IT/Digital/Hybris Performance team
• Identify project/support demand for performance testing
• Estimate performance testing efforts for project/support
• Work with Manager to ensure communication of status and approvals
• Work with product owners for a timeline of new or existing projects
• Attend and lead Team meetings and capture status
• Ensure accurate updates for allocations, cost center, and time tracking is maintained
• Reviews completed tasks to ascertain compliance with standards
• Monitor all team members and provide necessary advice and guidance
• Perform periodic risk assessments and initiate risk control strategies
• Identified opportunities to increase efficiencies thru improved Performance Testing
• Coach all team members and motivate them to produce desired results
• Organize regular seminars and training to teach team members new techniques and methods
• Keep up with trends in the constantly evolving technology deployments and the introduction of new applications
• Perform regular IT/Digital audits to discover areas of weaknesses and fortify them
• Work alongside other departments to achieve company goals and visions
• Write and forward regular Status reports to the management
• Provide solutions to any complex IT/Digital related challenges in the organization
• Perform regular appraisal of team member’s performance and devise strategies to help with improvement
• Carry out in-depth research to reveal new and better methods of handling functions within the department
• Ensure that the company’s NFR requirements and information are protected from any unauthorized updates and communicate to any impacted areas
• Supervise any issues reported and provide follow-up training, if necessary, for the team
• Approve any time off and track time off for the Performance Team
• Develop and maintain performance test process, Training, and Standards for team and tools

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

• 10+ years of experience in the field or in a related area
• Complete understanding and experience on end-to-end performance engineering lifecycle
• Cross Team engagement
• Understanding the infrastructure design to plan performance tests accordingly
• Environment setup
• Team knowledge
• Hands-on experience in building test scripts for a variety of technologies such as Web, Angular, Services, SPA, GUI, SAP, SQL, Db2, Cassandra, Couch, IAM, IaaS, Oracle, Mobile, Cloud,
• Hands-on experience on a wide set of industry-standard tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, UFT, Load UI, Storm Runner, Performance Center, Charles Proxy, Selenium
• In-depth knowledge of the extensive settings on each tool to configure and execute the scripts efficiently
• Ability to provide estimations and scheduling
• Knowledge to collate and define the overall performance test plan for sign-off from project team
• Ability to design test scenarios
• Performance modeling (scenarios, SLA’s, pass/fail criteria)
• Experience validating the environment design

PREFERRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

• Subject matter expertise in computer science, engineering, or related discipline
• Experience leading teams and managing project deadlines
• Strong with methodologies, tools, best practices, and processes within a specific area of responsibility

PREFERRED EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering in specialty or equivalent experience
